3 Balls of Fire are the
Austin-based trio performing original high octane, road-tested,
surf-drenched Texas twang. Critically acclaimed lead guitarist
Burnin' Mike Vernon has played with Tomsco, the Ventures' Nokie
Edwards, and Dick Dale's band Slacktone, among others. The late Link
Wray hand-picked Vernon to lead his band at last April's Ponderosa
Stomp in New Orleans. Vernon recently produced "Quite A
Party!," a tribute to the Fireballs on Ace Records.
