Daisy Cutter formed 8 years ago while the guys were still at school and consists
of Mick Brown (lead vocals & guitar), Andy "Fuzz" Firth
(keyboard), Andy Armitage (bass guitar) and Wayne Denny (drums.) They produced
their first album "Perfect
Landing" in 1998, which is available from Virgin Stores in Bradford.
In November 2001, after taking a 16 month break Wayne is back and better than
ever. This return to their roots, their sense of humour and rapport with the
audience, not to mention the facts that they pack venues, make Daisy Cutter a
group that definitely has that magic, something special, quality about them.
Daisy Cutter are recording new material and hoping to produce an EP later
this year. During their 8 year history and endless numbers of gigs they have
played support for Terrorvision, the Yard Birds, the Radiohead Tribute band and
Kathryn Williams at Liverpool's Cavern
Club, were they now play quite regularly.
They are due to play the Cavern again on the 10th May 2002 and a coach is
available from the Bradford area, for further details see website.
