A
singer-song writer hailing from South London, Dan’s epic indie-folk
songs, are simple and direct in their arrangement. Dan manages to
marry his catchy pop melodies with intimate and affecting lyrics,
which he delivers with soft and passionate vocals. Dan first brought
his back catalogue of self-penned tunes to the stage, when at
Sheffield University. Playing his songs at low- key acoustic
showcases in coffee shops and bars, Dan built up a modest but
dedicated following whilst in Sheffield, which has remained to watch
him on his Journey on the London circuit. Whilst playing such venues
as the “Lark in The Park” in Islington, Dan’s live
performances have blossomed. This has seen him asked to return to
play the “Twist” acoustic showcase in Greenwich, after a
triumphant debut appearance in May of this year. Dan has recently
enlisted the help of several talented musicians to help him record
his unnamed debut EP. Currently in the rehearsal process, Dan will
be entering the studio in February when recording will commence at
Worlds End Sound studio in Kent. Now with violin and cello
accompaniment to name just two of the added instrumentation, Dan’s
slower arrangements are already developing a distinctive operatic
feel.
