EATON PARK are quite
possibly the best unsigned band there is. At the moment a four piece
band hailing from Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. The band consists
of the four "boys" you see in the photo's above. With Ben
"bunty" Hammond on guitar and lead vocals, Wayne Ryles
lead guitar and backing vocals, Simon Hawkins on bass guitar and
Richard "the boy" Howshall on drums.
The boys have played
at various venues all over the u.k. including
The Cavern,
Liverpool.
Night and Day,
Manchester.
The Star and Garter,
Manchester.
Keele University
Cherry Jam,
London
Sugarmill, Stoke on
Trent
The Underground,
Stoke on Trent
The Limelight Club,
Crewe.
Influences of the
band consist of bands such as Morrissey, Oasis, Cast, The Who,
Crowded House, Buddy Rich, The Killers and when you listen to them
you can hear it in the way the music's played. If you like any of
the above bands then you'll love Eaton Park.
They've been together
for five years and in February 2005 "the boy" joined the
band and after three weeks he was playing his first gig with
the band at The Vine Tree in Randwick near Stoud, Gloscester. He
fitted into the lineup with no problems and no one could
believe how long he'd been in the band.
Eaton Park will play
anywhere at anytime. Their main concern is getting seen and heard by
as many people as possible and maybe, just maybe they'll play at the
right place at the right time and get a record deal.
At the moment Eaton
Park are being helped out by an online radio station called X ROCK
and would appreciate it if you'd check them out. I'm listening to it
now as I'm typing this page up for the site and I can say quite
honestly that they are playing some quality tunes. Here's how you
can listen http://www.streamerp2p.com
then click on X ROCK [there's a small file to download]
