With a list of
influences including Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Stone Roses,
oasis, and the Doves, Electric Heroin have crafted their own style
of music that is already attracting knowing glances from the right
people. No two songs sound the same, as soon as you hear Electric
Heroin live its obvious that the songs just have that certain thing
about them that connects the music to the band. It wasn’t planned
this way, there is no agenda, Electric Heroin only write songs that
they want to play and that they would listen to themselves.
The addition of a new drummer in December 2016 inspired the band to
scrap the old set-list and start over. During this relatively short
space of time that has passed, the band have accomplished more than
many bands can only dream of: they’ve had live air play on BBC
radio and Kerrang radio, headlined sell-out gigs in Wolverhampton,
played Birmingham's Academy, spread there wings across the uk and
recorded a demo CD that challenges the majority of signed bands at
the present moment.
This may sound like an arrogant claim, but Electric Heroin don’t
confuse confidence with arrogance. They have built a big guitar
based sound accompanied with infectious beats and catchy melodies,
which they know, will carry on grabbing people’s attention.
