The band Gaucho
was formed in late 2016. However, the band members have known
each other personally over the past 5 to 10 years. The band
comprises of lead and
rhythm guitarist Dodge, Marcus on vocals, Elge on bass and Barney
on drums. The mid to late twenties quartet are based in North
Nottinghamshire. Gaucho pride
themselves on writing all their own music, together,
as a band. Interjecting with ideas and suggestions, their music is
formed from many separate
backgrounds and influences to collate into a unique,
sinuous and heartfelt sound. Falsetto and true 'rock-style' power
vocals and deep melodic grooves
with infectious rhythms are carried strongly across
a great distance. As a band, Gaucho hopes to develop their unique
blend of new material and expand
their fan base through further gigging experience
and recording. They also hope to eventually become well established
and respected in the music industry.
