| Biography |
The Incas were formed in 1962. The four original members pictured are (left to
right) Terry Broughton - lead guitar; Bob Martin (kneeling) - bass; Alf Anslow - drums; John Grogan - rhythm
guitar. The band played all over the North West as well The South Coast and Scotland. We made three
appearances at the Cavern, including one with Gene Vincent and The Hollies in 1963, and I am pleased to be
just one of the bricks in the Cavern Pub wall (inside right hand window - left side). Bob Martin and
Alf Anslow both died in the last few years. Terry still lives locally and still plays; John has lived in
Canada since 1970.
