Johnny Silver was born 30th of January 71 in North Germany near Hamburg .
He started regularly performing at he age of 16, playing guitar and singing in local Top-40 cover bands. Eventually he became a freelance musician and singer for studio and live, also he recorded and produced his own material . He plays guitar, piano, bass, drums and harp.

His ability to give naturally a stunning Lennon impression – with his remarkable voice, looks and attitude - led him to found the Silver Beatles in 1996 and additionally The Lennon Revival in 1999. His love for Rock´n Roll is obvious, but he loves emotional ballads too.

Liverpudlians believe him to be a scouser, a native liverpudlian, due to his accent and behaviour. He performed live at some of the most renown original Beatles locations, like the Cavern Club, Casbah, Quarry Bank School and Strawberry Fields in Liverpool or Grugahalle in Essen and Circus Krone in Munich, not to mention the countless gigs at events, conventions and oldie festivals. He appeared on radio and tv in Germany, England, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria, Italy,  Kroatia and Russia.

Johnny Silver also presents with Mike Doering (video production and animation) the Lennon Project " Lennon- A Day in the life", which is the anthology of J.L.
skizzing musically the stations of his life, from a personal view, Rock´n Roll of the early years in Hamburg and Liverpool,
