Katch
are a five-piece band consisting of vocalist, lead, bass and rhythm
guitar and drums. They
consider their style of music to be indie and have written
approximately 40 of their own songs.
They have been together for 2 years, have a good local fan
base and have played a number of gigs in the surrounding areas.
Katch
formed in March 2016 and quickly set about writing some original
songs. The first few months were spent locked away working on songs
for what would be the first demo which featured Dragon's Presence,
Something In The Air, She Castaway and Picture Of You, the latter
becoming a firm live favourite. Katch then played many gigs in the
local area, as they wanted to be known from the beginning, as first
and foremost a live band. Katch performed at the Pigstock festival
in the summer of 2016, which was a big highlight. They also played
in Pwllheli with Beth from Radio 1, which resulted in some local
press attention and airtime on the local radio station.
Katch
have built up a large fanbase due to their fantastic stage presence
and their skills as songwriters.
Each member of Katch actively songwrites and each song is
then perfected as a group creating varied styles of music from high
energy upbeat songs to melodic indie rock
At
present the band are putting the finishing touches to the recordings
of a number of new songs and have been promoting themselves to a
wider audience by playing gigs in cities such as Liverpool,
Manchester and Glasgow.
Katch
are committed to putting 100% into every song and every performance
and this is apparent when their music is heard.
