Starting in January 2016, Stefan and Dani sent demos, fragments of songs and lyrics to "manics" producer Greg Haver. He loved the songs; they loved his work and advices. To visit Greg in his hometown Cardiff was very was to be the birth of the band. No Bandname, no bass and drum players, but tons of visions and songs.

Around the same time, Dani and Stefan met Mike and Muso for the first time in a Bern venue called the ‘Elchklub’. This place, hidden in a basement in a residential area has the feeling of an underground New York club.

Emerging from this blend of New York flair and the British vibes, Marvin was born in February 2016.

At a rehearsal with Greg the band decides to record 6 songs during the 8 days of recording in the relief studios in Switzerland. This time has a big influence on the bands sound. The Singer/Songwriter songs take the shape of Marvin. All this happened in a rich atmosphere, very efficient, inspired and motivated. The band was wrapped up in the moment and 4 of the songs are released their first EP called [flic flac].

Their Debut Single Holiday entered the swiss airplaycharts on 20 (best place for indipendent band since 4 years)
