Take the influence of
Blondie as a staring point, mix in Wayne's knack of creating
a memorable and catchy tune, top it all off with Kristy's melodies,
words and stage presence and you arrive at North. After
recording their first demo, at The Shed in Romiley, North have been
playing small, select
gigs around Manchester. On the strength of this demo, they
were chosen to appear at the 'In The City 2005' music festival and
following on from the
success of this performance, more gigs at bigger venues
have followed. With an ever increasing fan base from every gig they
play, 2005 has been the
year that North have introduced themselves to the local
Manchester scene.
