In 1997 Paul appeared at one of the UK’s most prestigious cabaret clubs “LAKESIDE” performing a Lonnie Donegan tribute in a show called “ROCKIN’ AT THE 2 I’s”. Lonnie Donegan, Paul’s idol was in the audience and was so amazed with Pauls performance that he gave him his full permission to be his tribute performer and have been friends ever since. That night Paul was also privileged enough to have Lonnie’s eldest son “Tony Donegan” backing him on drums.

In 2001 Paul appeared in cabaret for the “WARNER HOLIDAYS GROUP”. His tribute performance was so successful that he was invited back to appear at another of their sites in 2002 - and they are now discussing further engagements.

Paul has also taken his tribute show to “TENERIFE”, playing the hotels in “LAS AMERICAS”. The entertainment’s manager’s praised him as the best act that they had seen for 14 years.

In 2002 he performed his tribute show at the “COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL” at Morecambe, Lancashire. Once again he created an outstanding performance encouraging the organisers of the event to discuss further engagements.

From 2015 onwards Paul has been booked to tour his Lonnie Donegan Tribute Show around the UK theatres.
