Biography |
Formed in 2001 and
hailing from Wolverhampton The Priory are a
gang as much as a band rising out of the industrial wasteland of
England. Together they
create the collective. Operating not singularly, the band is their
instrument. Growing up in The Black Country has influenced The
Priory's music
a great deal, lending it a decisively industrial feel that can be
clearly heard
throughout all of their songs. Distorting, beating, and teasing
computers, loops,
and inanimate metal objects alike into electronic noises give
an edge to the unmistakable and
contagious danceable beats that their songs hold.
