Biography |
History will tell you
that Racine was either a French writer, the location
of Al Capones alcohol racket or the street where Sean Connery was
gunned down in the Untouchables. Racine is now a Leeds based 4-piece
lying somewhere along the lines of the Stones/U2/Verve/Ryan Adams
although alcohol and racketeering are well known to be general
hobbies for the band. The Crowther Brothers (Ben lead vocals and
guitar and Jonny lead guitar) are backed by the rhythm section Mark
Brown (bass, heroism and backing vocals) and Danny OGrady (sticksman).
Racine have been together for just under a year although the
brothers have been writing together/living in each others
pockets/making music for years. The band have gigged in
Yorkshire, the North East
and Scotland and are beginning to leave scars on the memory.
