Biography
Formed in 2015 by members of other local bands, 'Red Method' started off as a local pop punk act. 2016 saw the band take a change in direction as they went for a heavier edge, eventually parting ways withfounding drummer Tom Fawcett and bringing in Jon Pell-Illderton as a drummer who better suited the style of music. After playing several gigs throughout the country, including slots supporting Visible Noise Records band 'Days of Worth' and indie stars 'DARTZ!', Jon left the band to move away from home. The band then started writing as a four-piece for their 3rd EP 'Flight' taking into account their more immediate influences, such as bands like 'Death Cab For Cutie' and 'The Academy Is...', but still hanging onto their hard edge. This created a sound which is quite unique, and which Red Method like to call 'Hard Indie Rock'. Red Method are well known for their live performances, being one of the most energetic acts around, whilst playing a meticulously tight and enjoyable set.
