Having formed in late
2015, young Scottish 5-piece, Soulstarr have quickly established
themselves on the live music scene. Since forming Soulstarr have
been consistent in
gigging, Having supported The Zutons, The Ordinary Boys, The
Kiaser Chiefs and The Dead 60’s as well as playing many
established venues
in Scotland including King Tuts Wah Wah Hut, The Edinburgh Venue,
The Liquid Rooms
and The Barfly. The
band have recently released their debut EP “The Birth of Song”
on Edinburgh
label Broken Clothing Records and have been active in the promotion
of the CD gaining plaudits from many fields
Drawing on
their diverse influences, the bands sound is contemporary acoustic-rock
contrasted with soulful vocals and striking lyrics. Soulstarr’s
passion for music, belief in their endeavours and love of performing
is evident in their polished live set.
