Stand Alone has been an
idea floating around since late 2015.
It wasn’t until frontman A.J. (Alan John) THOMSON's life
started to turn
into a constant reflection of the movie 'Groundhog Day', that he
decided to do something
about it. The
first move came in the form of a text message to musical genius DEAN
PETLEY who took the duty
of lead guitarist. Then with an email to bass player,
and long time friend, PETE KELLY, the first pieces of the puzzle
were complete. Now all
they needed was a drummer. Enter
KATEY BROWN. With one quick phone call, Pete enlisted the skills of
his girlfriend who
fitted perfectly on the rhythm section. Stand
Alone have been a four piece since the 6th February 2006, and in
that short space
of time have played such high profile places as Liverpool's Barfly,
Cavern Club and Carling Academy 2. Their amazing live shows have won
them many fans.
