Sweet Apple Pie started to play their strong melodic power pop songs throughout France around 1996. Very soon, their punchy live performances catch the attention of an increasing number of fans.

After the release of a well-noticed 6-track mini-album 'First Slice' in 1998, the band is ready for a new challenge : they cross the Channel for the first time to tour England. And it works. This is the beginning of a whole series of international tours, with many shows in famous venues throughout England (London, Brighton, Liverpool, Manchester...) and Spain (Barcelona, Valencia, Tarragona, Madrid...).

Sweet Apple Pie make their first full album 'Everybody Wants To Be A Supertiger' in 2002 on Spirit Of Jungle. It is released in France (Spirit Of Jungle/Wagram), Japan (Painted Sky Discs), USA (Not Lame Recordings) and Spain (Bip Bip Records). The album is very well received by the public and it gets excellent reviews in the press. The band gives several TV and radio shows in France (Canal Jimmy...) and in Spain (TVE, Telemadrid...). The same year, a four-week French tour with the american band Cotton Mather is organized, followed by many concerts and festivals in France and abroad.

In the meantime, from 2001 to 2015, unreleased tracks have appeared on EPs and on several compilations around the globe : Australia, Japan, Spain, France, England. It is time to make a new album. For that, Sweet Apple Pie create their own record label Supertiger Productions.

After a new English tour ending at the world famous Cavern Club in Liverpool by end of 2015, Sweet Apple Pie get into the studio for a few weeks and record their second album. 'Between The Lines' (Supertiger Productions) shows the evolution of the band and reveals their new world : the tone is both deeper and more direct, the songs more personal, yet still with those special vocal harmonies. The album is finally mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London early 2016.

The album has been released first in the USA on Not Lame Recordings, immediately getting very good feedback. 'Between The Lines' has been then released in France and Switzerland on Polaris/Sony Music, in Spain on Rock Indiana Records and in Japan on Wizzard In Vinyl Records. A new tour throughout Europe has been completed by the end of 2016 to support the new record, with some highlights like a new Spanish national TV show and well noticed gigs in Paris, Madrid, London, Liverpool, Portsmouth, etc... A new international tour is being set up for 2005.
