Formed
in 2016, the last 12 months has seen Southampton 5 piece Volume adding to their
line up, expanding their guitar driven wall of sound and not least honing their
craft. A little bit experimental, a little bit emo, a little bit hardcore,
Volume's sound occupies a place in rock that is, in truth, hard to pin down.
Sure to appeal to Kerrang kids and indie schmindie's alike it is epic, vicious
and intriguing. Throwing in the occasional processed beat and synthesizer
weirdness just add to the mix. They have played shows with the likes of Tom Vek,
Dive Dive, Clor, and have built a strong local fanbase. Recently they've been
recording with Producer/Engineer Bruno Ellingham (Elbow, KT Tunstall, New
Order) at Real World Studios for a debut release in 2006 to be supported by a
string of live shows.
