Biography |
Hard work both on and
off the stage has lead to Carousel Circus becoming one of
the bands to look out for. With a unique brand of fresh,
sweaty, raw rock n’
roll the Circus go from strength to strength. With six radio
appearances, including
BBC and Kerrang, you have to take them seriously. Understanding the
importance of
self-promotion and dedication Carousel Circus produced their debut
EP '13:33', which has received glowing reviews from local and
national music
press. To celebrate the success of the EP, the Circus played a
two-month tour,
which included headline slots in London and throughout the midlands.
A highlight of
the tour saw the Circus headline to a capacity crowd at Birmingham’s
esteemed venue, the Jug of Ale. 2005 also sees Carousel Circus
headline at the Carling
Bar Academy, Birmingham, and play at the most famous venue
in the world, Liverpool’s Cavern Club.
“Their quirky brand of
rock n’ roll is a big hit with the crowd. Job well done
boys, now where’s that bar?”
- bbc.co.uk
“Take Carousel
Circus for instance, the six tracks off their EP “13:33” are
bursting with attitude,
noise and spite. This foursome pillage the great rock sweet
shop to throw together a reckless blend of blues, rock and general
unruly strangeness.”
- overplay.co.uk
“They have a very
commercial sound and given the right break should have longevity
in the industry.” surgemusic.com “Good
songs, good looks and heaps of star quality. When it comes to
holding the
audience and a catchy track, Carousel Circus are the ringmasters.”
