Inspired by Acid Jazz, Soul and Funk legends, Chichino have crafted a sound of their own…a sound that’s sure to turn you on!!

Drummer, Andy, and bassist, Keith, are the funky backbone of Chichino.  With their groovy beats, that drive the band along, they’re guaranteed to have your feet itching to hit the dance floor.

Guitarist, Gary, not only brings his cool riffs and lightning licks to the sound, but also provides one of the voices of Chichino.

Narelle completes the Chichino line-up, with her piano and organ sounds that are right at the forefront of their beautiful stuff.  She also leads the vocal mix, and has the soulful voice that complements her song writing skills.

Their full set list includes an abundance of original material and a few classic covers, such as Superstition, Groove is in the Heart, and Love Rollercoaster. 

Chichino are gloriously upbeat and have had people dancing since the summer of 2015, playing regularly in London, Manchester, and their home city of Leeds, and gracing such prestigious venues as Jazz Café (London), HiFi Club (Leeds) and Life Café (Manchester).  They’ve appeared live on BBC Radio Leeds, BBC Radio Cleveland and Radio Aire. They’ve also been featured on National FM Radio 2 in Macedonia!  They’ve attracted the attention of both local and national websites, magazines and newspapers.  Recently they topped internet radio station Aiiradio’s chart with their debut single “It Could Happen To You”.  This single is available in a number of record shops, including Borders and HMV Leeds, with the remix available exclusively at Tribe Records in Leeds. It will also be appearing on the soundtrack of the latest O’Neill surfing DVD, “Anglet Pro 2005” and a forthcoming Rip-Curl DVD aimed at the Australian market.  In December 2016 they won Xscape’s first ever battle of the bands and in summer 2005 made the shortlist of three for Radio Aire’s Northern Star competition. Leeds Rhino’s have recently chosen Chichino to feature as part of the pre-match entertainment at their play-off fixtures in October 2005.
