Formed in late 2005 The
Dirty Lips are a four piece indie band
from North Notts. The band comprises of James Foy - Lead Guitar
& Vocals, Ryan Beardsley - Rhythm Guitar & Vocals, Richard
Lowe - Bass Guitar & Vocals and Paul Exton - Drums. The band has
been gigging mainly in the North Notts area and have established a
solid local fan base and are now venturing further afield. The band
takes influences from Bob Dylan, Beatles, Rolling Stones,
Oasis and Libertines,
and has a upbeat sound with catchy riffs and vocal melodies.
