St.Asaph city based
band Evolve, were formed in 2015 as a four-piece combo - the
addition of a bass guitarist in 2016 completed the line up.
Evolve play a number of contemporary rock and indie covers as well
as performing an increasing number of their own material which is
well received by a range of audiences.
The band released their first EP in March 2006 entitled ''City
Boys'' - a tribute to their roots.
Since then their e.p gave the band a positive track to follow with
airplay from Dave Monks of BBC Merseyside and Adam Walton of BBC
Radio Wales,
Only just recently they entered their e.p into the 'BBC New Talent
Contest Wales' and were successfully short listed to the last six,
which meant the band would have to showcase three original tracks
at an organised venue with a panel of six judges including radio
gurus aswell as well known drummers DAVE BAIDEN POWEL from JAMES
and the ex drummer of the STEREOPHONICS --STUART CABLE--.The band
successfully won on the day and now have the oppertunity to play
with a well known U.K artist (yet to be chosen) as well as a free
weekend at a recording studio where even more new material will be
recorded.
