EXIT
are a hard-hitting melodic rock band from Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Formed in 2016 by cousins Shane Watters and Chris Logan with the
goal to bring proper rock 'n' roll, quality song-craft and
entertainment values back to the mainstage.
The
band consists of Tristan Harris (lead Vocals), Chris Logan (Lead
Guitar, backing Vocals), Andy Morgan (Bass guitar, backing Vocals)
and Shane Watters (Drums, backing Vocals).
The
band name was chosen for various reasons. The main reason is that we
feel our style of music is a departure from the normal sound and
"shoe-gazing" band ethos' that seems to exist at the
minute. Also, various members of the band left other bands to join
EXIT. Since its creation the band have been known for their
exhaustive live shows and gigging schedules. This led to the band
reaching the regional finals of the Global Battle Of The bands
competition after only six months after the bands formation.
In
march 2005 the band recorded
their self-financed debut five-track EP entitled
"Message To the Universe" which has since achieved mass
radio airplay both nationally and locally. The EP continues to
sell at gigs and through the website. Recently the band
re-entered the studio to add two more tracks to the EP and
re-mix/re-master some of the tracks on the original EP due to
growing interest in the band. This interest resulted in a planned
tour of the UK in the summer 2006.
So
with a growing fan-base the band is looking forward to
the future and the hope that we get to reach as many people as
possible with our music and fulfil our dreams.
