Founded 1999 by Markus Holzach, Frank Bergmann and Andi Karg, The FAM became one of the most
famous neo-beat groups in Germany. The FAM finally got to realise an ambition by playing at The Cavern, which turned out
to be a huge success. They call their
music "Modern Beat", but that's too simple a description. Although they're certainly influenced by the
Beatles, their music is new, fresh, and up to date. The three piece Band's music is based around powerful guitar-riffs, three-part
vocal harmonies and strong melodic tunes. With their recent CD: "On the roofs of Liverpool", they proved
themselves as a "mod´n" beat band.
