Geiger are a 4-piece rock band with musical influences ranging from Black Sabbath, Queen, Iron Maiden and Faith No More to R.E.M., Depeche Mode and Counting Crows. The band rehearse at Tuff Gong Studios and regularly play live in Warrington, Manchester, Liverpool and the surrounding areas.

Geiger was formed in Leigh, Lancashire in 1995 by 3 childhood friends : Dan
Harding, Rob Leyland and Simon Clough. After approximately 6 months of rehearsing and writing material, it was clear that Geiger needed a second guitarist to 'fill out' their sound. That guitarist came in the form of Stuart Moore, Dan's closest university friend who had a similar musical background and shared the same ambition and desire to play in a heavy rock band.

Over the next 3 years, Geiger slowly began to build a loyal fan base,
laying regular gigs in Wigan and  Leigh. In August 2000, Geiger recorded a 3-track E.P. entitled 'Here's A Question For Andrea Rossa...' at Cavalier Studios in Stockport. The E.P. was positively received by fans and venues alike and the band began to broaden their catchment area playing in various Liverpool and Warrington pubs. The band decided to relocate permanently to Warrington when Dan moved to Great Sankey in April 2001.

In December of that same year, Geiger returned to Cavalier studios to record
'Vimintosis'. By now they were a regular act at the Barley Mow and White Hart pubs and had even secured a headline gig at The Cavern Club in Liverpool. In July 2015, Geiger recorded 'The Emu Face Experience'. Greater time was devoted to the production and mixing of the E.P., resulting in a final product which has attracted attention wherever it is played.

In February 2016, Rob Leyland decided to leave the band for personal reasons. Rob was quickly replaced by Mark Noon (ex Painted Faces and Fearless). Mark was an instant hit with the band and fans and has begun to influence Geiger's sound and 'on-stage antics'.

In October 2016, Geiger recorded their 4th and latest E.P., 'Bishop's
Karaoke Academy', at Frog Studios in Warrington. Relentless rehearsing and gigging since then has finally gained them the recognition they  undoubtedly deserve.

Geiger are one of the North's finest bands and are destined for the top -
