Lawrence appeared on Stars In
Their Eyes 10 years ago. Numerous TV appearances
followed including TFI Friday, Ch4 documentary about the Beatles, singing live on London
Weekend Television's Best of the week show, and
channel 5's night fever...to name a few. His
theatre show 'anthology' with Gary Gibson (Lennon) was a big success
in theatres all over
the UK and Europe. He
is an experienced and versatile performer both as a solo artist and
front man in several bands, and
has performed in Large Conventions, clubs, pubs,
holiday camps, theatres, private functions all over the world. He
plays piano, bass and guitar.
He's played the part of Paul in a full
length movie in Italy. He's done
fashion shoots with the likes of supermodel Linda Evangelista and
adverts appearing on giant
billboards and buses in Liverpool (wonder what Sir
Paul thought of that eh ?).
But surely the greatest tribute to any Paul
impersonator was made when Sir Paul
himself invited Lawrence to work with him on one of his videos. They
hung out together for several
days, shared the same dressing room - sung together
- even had lunch together. He
was A regular at the Liverpool Beatle week before he moved to the
USA 3 years ago
he's now back where he once belonged ...
One of the few Paul impersonators to our
knowledge who's actually worked and sung
with Paul McCartney, Welcome back to the UK - Lawrence Macca Gilmour
Lawrence is available as a solo
artist who plays live piano, guitar bass and backing
tracks if required Lawrence
also has a superb 5 piece band (Itchycoopark.net) backing him -
just like a live McCartney concert.
