Biography
The Harry Coffey Band formed in it's original line up around 1997. Harry Coffey and Steve Marshall being the two founders, with Steve picking up the guitar after a 20 year lay off. Steve was guitarist with 70's rock band Iron Mad Wilkinson who supported Suzi Quatro on her trips to Britain, he also formed a band with Biff Byford which later went on to become heavy rockers known as Saxon. He also played lap steel with country based band Ralph and The Rednecks.

Joining Steve on lead guitar is 26 year old Paul Roffey, Paul has played in a variety of bands covering all styles of music. He
played in acoustic alternative band Hotel Brown for a period recording the Little Comforts album released by Wrecking Ball Records.

John Swift (bass) brings a vast amount of experience to the band along with newest member Bob Leyton on drums. Bob has played with
the likes of Dave Berry and the Cruisers, Frank White, Bitter Suite, Riff Raff and many others.

Harry Coffey is known for his distinctive growl and has been compared to Captain Beefheart, little is actually known about Harry
Coffey and his background but rumours associate him with some highly rated artists.

The band play a blend of blues and rock, playing classics from SRV, Hendrix, Cream, Lynrd Skynrd, Free to name but a few.
