A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE BAND...
The Loving Cup was founded in the summer of 2000 upon the ideal of uplifting
and
honest melody based music. Aged between 22 and 27, the band are from
Connah’s
Quay in North Wales. They have continued to develop their unique
blend
of modern blues based country-rock and today emerge as the brightest
prospect
in the genre this side of the Atlantic. Their strong live
set has been honed by playing regularly in venues all over the
North West and further afield: Chester’s Telford’s Warehouse,
Liverpool’s
famous Cavern Club and The Picket, Central Station in Wrexham and the Barfly Club in both London and Cardiff
to name just a few.

The band have recently released their eponomously-titled, Ronnie Stone
produced
debut album on the Blue Rhythm Productions label. Their eleven-song
offering
is a glorious slice of Americana with each track oozing the confidence
of a group perfectly at ease with their influences. For
