The Misled Heroes
are a 4-piece Punk, Ska & New Wave influenced band from Hartlepool
in the North East of England. We have been together since about
January 2005. We started gigging
in July 2005 after writing 5 songs and learning
a few covers. Since July we have played many many gigs which included
reaching the final of a local Battle Of The Bands in August 2005.
Since then gigs have been getting
bigger, better and further away from home. We
have been playing at great venues across the north of England to
crowds of up 500 people.
Sharing stages with bands such as Bromheads Jacket, Five O’clock
Heroes, Little Man Tate, Black Wire The Golden Virgins, The Golden
Age and Avangaad. We have been
building up quite a live reputation, which has
been acknowledged by local press. In November 2005 we recorded our
first C.D. with local
producer and all around musical wizard Paddy Jordan, We have recently
sold out of the first pressing of our demo and it has also helped
us get bigger gigs and a growing
fanbase. More gigs are getting announced every
week and we are hoping to do our first UK tour this summer as well
as unleash our first
single on the public.
