The Monotones are a
group of friends who first started playing ska together in October
2016, since then the band has gone on to accomplish a lot, playing
at venues and clubs all over the west midlands, having come second
in a "hometown" battle of the bands and second
again in a national competition held at the Wolverhampton venue
"The Wulfrun halls."
The Monotones have
gained great praise from the press as well, from Birmingham
and Leeds fanzines writing articles on them to the BBC
filming interviewing them after the results were announced at the
Wulfrun.
The Monotones intend
to be releasing a short EP over the summer of 2006 in conjunction
with them breaking onto the national club scene.
