Formed in early 2016,
and featuring former members of renowned Blackpool bands,
Starcollapse and Lady in the Radiator, The Neon Trees have quickly
become one of Blackpool's most talked about bands.
Biography
Fronted by
singer-songwriter Joanna Byrne, the band describe their music as
'country power-pop' with an emphasis on melody and infectious
songwriting. The band cite their influences as The Pixies, Belly,
The Pretenders and The Lemonheads amongst many others.
The band have spent much of 2005 gigging around the northwest and
further afield, building up a strong and dedicated following.
