Get Rhythm Dec 2005 "Nightclub Fight Song/Duplicity' (100-only

90's American indie-pop, Naive but
confident, stumbling but accomplished. Like a well groomed Sebadoh
enjoying a night out following a successful sex-change'
This single is released as a prelude to the band going into the
studio to record their first full album.
Our first single, 'Show of Hands' released on our own label,
'Pinch Records', received airplay across the U.K., France, Spain,
Portugal, Brazil, and college radio stations in the U.S. This
included airplay on Steve Lamacq's Radio
6 show. Previous recordings by the band have also been played by
John Peel.
The band undertook a successful small tour of
Spain
in October 2016 on the back of their airplay in Girona
and
Barcelona
. We returned in October 2005 to play at the Fires de Sant
Narcis festival in Girona,
playing to 8,000 people.
Reviewers have linked the Pale Man Made sound to Brix
Smith-era Fall, Joy Division, a northern english
version of Pretty Girls Make Graves, and the Pixies. Other reviewers
have said:
November 2016, BBC Tees

force to be reckoned with'
February 2016 Punk Planet Magazine:
'Quick drumbeats, a sprawling guitar, driven bass and overlapping
boy-girl vocals make this short EP (three tracks) a delight to
experience. Track two, "Winning Streak", wins the race
with great energy."

hearing, the band we should be hearing a lot more from'
