North Yorkshire
based,THE PLUG formed in October 2016 as an acoustic 3 piece collaboration
of experienced local musicians. Michael Wilbor - Bass
Guitar/Backing Vocals,
John Aitken - Electric Violin and Bob Fleming - Lead Vocals
/ Acoustic Guitar. It
didn't take long before the band were successfully gigging an
abundance of
quality song material.
May 2005 saw the addition of a Drummer in the form of Ben Middleton
and then things
really began to pick up. The band became enthused with a rockier,
more solid groove and
new direction which lead to the recording of the bands first proper
EP in June 2005 entitled 'Demo'!
THE PLUG has become well known across the North for it's
fantastically energetic live shows... "Its not difficult to see
why audiences are clouring to see the energy these guys create
live" Laurence Budd, Fresh Radio.
And now with a string of big successful gigs, Radio Airplay, Huge CD
sales and a growing following of fans, THE PLUG are heading back to
the studio to record the much anticipated debut album!
