| Biography |
PV is a rock / melodic
metal band from Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Established in 2002 the band
took awhile to find their sound and stablise their line up but have
grown into a professional and dynamic outfit. Biting metal guitars
with sometimes melodic sometimes cutthroat vocals, our influences
range from old school metal such as Iron Maiden to more modern rock
such as Linkin Park, Trivium and The Lost Prophets. PV have featured
on stages around the UK with bands such as 4 Way Kill, Speedtheory,
Forever Never, Mendeed, Razorwire, Burnt, Exhibit A and Agent Blue,
and are currently releasing our debut album on Psychophonic Records
entitled "The Battle For Valhalla" (Recorded and produced
by Gavin Monaghan & Andy Taylor @ Magic Garden Studios,
Wolverhampton). The band also provided the main theme music for the
action movie 'The Silencer' ( www.the-silencer.co.uk) which is
released Spring 2006 (Dir. Steve Lawson & Simon Wyndham, Pheonix-I
