Psyne originally
formed in 2001. Steve and Phil had previously been in a garage
band (literally as they never actualy left the
garage) while Gaz and Adam had been playing together for a while
with numerous vocalists. Since getting it together Psyne began
gigging locally in the South Yorkshire area and have been doing so
ever since. Despite a brief split in 2016 due to other commitments
Psyne have reformed and are now more determined than ever to get
their music heard on a national scale.
Psyne have recently recorded their third E.P and their second with
the now legendary Alan Smyth (Pulp, Arctic Monkeys, Long Blondes
etc...) and are due to work with him again later this year. The
demo has been receiving rave reviews in the local press and is
having numerous radio plays in the south yorkshire area.
Combining
elements from many varied genres, due to the broad influences
within the band, Psyne have a talent for producing songs that are
always different to the last but at the same time distinctly
theirs.
