Biography |
In 1998, Mark and Sean
began jamming on their guitars on a regular basis and started
producing some good music together. However it took until the early
months of 2000 when they
were joined by Steve, who initially played bass and then
by Mike on the drums, that they became a 4-piece band.
After a few months together, they decided that ‘Incendiary’
would be the name
of their new band and on 3rd November 2000, they played their first
live gig at Genna’s
Nightclub along with fellow rockers ‘Hanney’ and ‘Freewheelin’.
With over 300 fans packed into the venue, they received a great
reception on their debut.
Incendiary continued to gig locally on a regular basis. until Mark,
who was playing lead guitar and also providing the vocals, felt that
he could not play to his full potential on guitar, the band decided
that they needed a front-man.
After many auditions (if you can call them that..!!) they realised
that a good front-man was hard to come by and finding the right one
would be difficult. Frank had previously provided vocals in
the days when Mark and Sean first started and after a little
persuasion, Frank decided to join the band as their vocalist.
During the summer of 2016, the band were forced into a major change
as Frank had to leave as a result of work commitments. A new
vocalist was found and ‘Frankie’ elected to front the band into
the new year. Then it all changed again
....and again ... and despite a lengthy lay off in 2005, Mark, Sean,
Steve, Mike and Frankie
are now looking forward to a busy 2006 as the gigs are
coming thick and fast.
