The band was born in 1996 when Jürgen
Pfingst and Manfred Jung met at a Tremeloes
concert on the season opening of Bayer Leverkusen`s football club.
The two guys had been inspired by this
music of their youth and wanted to do the
same. So they took for some other
people and started to play the music from Liverpool`s
and Hamburg´s sixties.
The band had been also involved in
many German productions of Grand opera, Film
and TV and is a part of the
Cologne-Liverpool town-twinning association.
As a result of Liverpool`s twinning with Cologne / Germany the
band also plays with Liverpools singer Ian Edwards under the
name "Ian & The German Zodiacs".
