In the spring of 2016, four friends came together to jam and share their love for the classic rock of the 60’s and 70’s. Initially, it was thought that there would be one, perhaps two sessions, just to reminisce. But what started out as a “one-time jam-session" soon became full-time ob-session, and The Rocking Chairs were born. The name is a jab at their advancing years (all hovering around 50 that is), while serving as a reminder that there is still plenty of rocking left to do, even as one's body parts begin to deteriorate. 

The band consists of Ron Barale (guitar) , Jim Lusby (bass), Mike Lusby (drums), and Craig Pursley (guitar/vocals). All four are from California , but live in Bath , NH . The past year has been dedicated to building their playlist and studio work for their demo CDs.
