Having grown up in one of Scotland’s leading jazz families and serving her apprenticeship in Edinburgh’s jazz and folk scenes, Sophie’s musical journey has taken in many sights and sounds including

·        performances at the South By Southwest Festival, Celtic Connections, Edinburgh International Jazz Festival . . .

·        collaborations with electronic band Spylab, Martin Green’s The Green Machine, Corrina Hewat’s New Voices commission . . .

·        broadcasts on BBC Radio 1, 2, 3, 4, Scotland . . .

With songs about life, her music can be fun, flirty, heart-wrenching, shocking and beautiful.  Sophie has a publishing deal at Bug Music, Los Angeles, and has released 3 CDs on her own label, LisaLeo Records.
