THE SUNS sound like a
summery, bittersweet fusion of graceful rock and warm
acoustic nostalgia but with different twists, encompassing loops and
beats, surf sounds, and
a carefree lets defy convention attitude to the way they
make music.
Their influences
include the likes of The Church, Teenage Fanclub, 60s
Folk/Psychedelia, Big Star, Arthur Lee, both Buckleys and Nick
Drake.
Their debut album is
currently available and marks a careful process that producer
Ardal Cravan cryptically hints the brightest stones make the
brightest beach, if you catch my drift.
The album includes live favourites Soul Desert, Quite Happy and the
forthcoming single Fearless. The Fearless EP features the album
version of
Fearless and three remixes by Zion Train, Gary Lloyd and Emanon and
The Visitor.
