Biography |
The Void all hail
from the borders of London and Essex. Growing up on the streets
of Romford has provided the band with a true character and a drive
to rise above the doldrums of
their surroundings. All currently aged 23, Nathan
Clarke (guitar, vocals), Brad Mott (guitar), Mark Brown (bass
guitar) and Chris Allen (drums)
first came together in late 2002. Working up
songs from Nathan's ever growing collection of home recorded demo's,
the band began to find its feet.
After securing some local gigs the band took
to play more high profile gigs on the London circuit. The
following few years have involved playing an ever evolving set at
venues such as Hope & Anchor,
Dublin Castle, Roadhouse and The Garage to great
receptions and very positive reviews. Having been compared to a
range of artists from The Kinks
and The Clash through to The Coral and The Strokes,
the band have always been proud of their influences but always
strived for a sound of their own.
Recent Quotes: "Having
been compared to The Strokes, The Clash and Oasis, The Void are
