Liverpool band - Chione,
have certainly been busy since the final of the Cavern Battle of the Bands
competition last August.
They were nominated
for best new talent in the Liverpool Echo awards, and had numerous articles
written about them in the Echo, Buz and City Magazine etc. Radio Merseyside have
featured the band a number of times, and they were asked to do the next big
thing on Juice FM. Many web radios and review sites are also featuring them in
their lists.
Famous fans of Chione now include
spoon bender extraordinaire, Uri Geller, who, after hearing their CD,
invited the band to meet with him.
Things then started to move
forward for the band as they signed a management deal with Los Angeles based MIG,
who swept them off to LA to make an EP and music video.
The band then returned to
Liverpool to wrap up their affairs, before going back to the states to record
their album with producer Roy Thomas Baker (Queen, Stones, Cars).
Their busy schedule included several gigs at 14 Below, Molly Malones and
Friars Club Beverly Hills.
On 21st December, they were invited to Michael Jackson's Neverland ranch for his
documentary 'You Are Not Alone' which will be out soon. Chione were interviewed
for ABC news about this.
We have four music videos now
