Laurence Juber comes to Dawsons Music Liverpool and The Cavern Club!
On Wednesday the 1st of November, two time Grammy Award winning guitarist, Laurence Juber, will be in Dawsons Music Liverpool demonstrating Martin guitars. Laurence, who enjoyed three years as Paul McCartney's lead guitarist, will then performing live at the Cavern Club that same evening (doors open at 8pm).

To celebrate, Martin have entrusted us with a remarkable selection of Custom Shop guitars for Laurence to play when he comes to Liverpool. The value of these these exquisite instruments generally varies between around two and four thousand pounds but until the 2nd of November you have the opportunity to save hundreds on a once-in-a-lifetime investment, right here on your doorstep!

TOP ACTS PERFORM FOR BBC RADIO 2 AT THE CAVERN
Travis are lined up to play the Cavern on Tuesday 5th October and will join Mark Radcliffe  with a host of support acts for BBC Radio 2 live broadcast.
Embrace will headline on Wednesday 6th October and Mark with be talking to the band and the support acts.

BOA SCOOP TOP PRIZE IN BATTLE OF THE BANDS
Liverpool band, Boa, last night won their way to Memphis in the Cavern's 2016 Battle of the Bands competition.  A packed Cavern Club witnessed a sensational final between 4 great bands:- The Amazing Kappa, Auden Prim, Solum and Boa.

JAN AKKERMAN
Jan Akkerman made his first appearance at the Cavern back in the early 70's as guitarist with progressive rock group 'Focus'.
He will be back at the club on Monday 7th June with his band comprising of Michel van Schie, Jeroen Rietbergen, Ronald Molendijk.

STAR CLUB CONNECTION AT THE CAVERN
On Saturday 17th April, Sounds of the Sixties presents, The Star Club Connection at The Cavern.  The event features, The Bootles, The Undertakers, Kingsize Taylor and the Dominoes, The Black Knights & Lee Curtis.  Proceedings start at 8.00pm, through until 2am.

BBC FILM CAVERN BEATLES AT THE CAVERN
The BBC were in the Cavern Club yesterday (29.10.03) to film 'Bill Oddie's' History Hunt.
The Cavern Beatles performed 'Please Please Me' for the show which will be aired around Christmas.

REECE LAUNCH AIDS AWARENESS TOUR FOR SOUTH AFRICA
Cavern Club Battle of the Bands winners - Reece will be appearing at the Cavern on the 1st November to launch the tour by playing a 1 hour set. V.I.Ps and Celebrities will also be attending the night to lend their support to the cause. Admission one the night will be free and that there are support groups as well.

Reece will be flying to South Africa on the 17th Nov and returning on the 4th Dec. Reece will be releasing a CD in Africa and all the proceed will be given from the sales to Mozambican charity "IMAGINE". This money will help Imagine to build a AIDS Hospice and Orphanage. Reece will be playing various concerts and gigs whilst over there to help promote awareness. 
Reece have been officially invited by the Mozambican government and have the support of the British High Commission, French Cultural Centre, Ex Pats and Diplomats. Virgin Airways are sponsoring Reece’s flight to and from South Africa. 
During the two weeks all promotion on TV , Press and Radio will be promoting "World Aids Day" on the 1st December which will see Reece headline and be performing to tens of thousands of people who help the fight against AIDS and also the people who suffer from the Pandemic.

BLONDIE PARTY AT THE CAVERN
Blondie play Liverpool on Tuesday 11th November at The Acadamy.
After the gig, why not come down to the Cavern, where "Into The Bleach", the official Blondie tribute band, will be playing the hits PLUS your favourite album tracks. In fact you can have a say in what the set list is. E-mail the band HERE with your suggestions.  Songs will be picked out and the person who chose it can get up and sing along with the band. Be Debbie Harry for a night! It's fun all night.  But will the band be 'Touched By THEIR Presence's Dears?' Who knows.. come along and find out!!
