Playing in the UK for the first time this summer is one of Icelands most popular bands, AMS.  This 5 piece band was formed in 1995 and has recorded 4 CD´s.  They have been very successful in the Icelandic Pop charts with more than 20 Top10 hits, and a numerous number 1´s.  The band played mainly SKA in the beginning but has over the years evolved to a more “traditional” pop/rock band although they still “keep in touch” with the SKA.

AMS plays approx. 70-90 gigs a year in Iceland and is undoubtedly amongst the very best live performers in the country.  You will be hearing a combination of their own material and cover stuff, which includes songs by U2, Madness, Radiohead and other great artists.  Enjoy!
