For this day are a four
piece hailing from Nottinghamshire. They were founded in 2005 after
the break up of indie band Avenue. The indie rockers have been
playing their own blend of rock music ever since. Influences would
include the likes of Oasis, Radiohead, Dylan, The Beatles and Small
faces. Their sound is somewhere mixed in with these bands but maybe
with adding a touch of folk and punk in there for good measure.
For this day have
been attracting record label interest for the past couple of months
and are in negotiation with a label about a possible development
deal. Recent performances on midlands radio shows and showcases in
the Manchester and London coming up For this day are a band on their
way. They have also finished their debut album 'Anything that means
everything'. Their fan base is growing as well as their reputation.
