‘The
Knightz’ formed at the end of 2016, when band mates Chris Naughton
(lead guitar), John ‘Bill’ Collins (drums) and Kev Bridge (bass)
decided to make a fresh start from a previous band.
Still with the passion for creating their own music, they
looked to David Arnold (vocals and guitar) to complete the outfit
and start them on their journey.
With
this new beginning, the guys began to write new material and found
their own unique sound with a mix of rock and melodic style indie
and have fast become a new sounding live band. From the humble beginnings of playing local pubs and venues
around St. Helens, ‘The Knightz’ launched themselves onto the
northwest scene with many impressive performances in and around
Liverpool and Manchester.
‘The
Knightz’ are very passionate about the music they create,
performances they give and pride themselves on enjoying what they do
and having a laugh along the way.
The
style of the band is built on good music, good times and a good
sense of humour. Support
for the band has grown with every gig as ‘The Knightz’ continue
to showcase their mix of music, from meaningful and melodic to the
raw sound of rock and roll. ‘The
Knightz’ are enjoying every aspect of their journey as they go
forward playing new fresh music to great crowds, and with this
continuation it would be very difficult for the music industry to
ignore them!
