Mother
Of Six are from Wrexham, North Wales. After smashing through the retro indie/baggie
scene nonsense of their home town, they have started to build up a
formidable local reputation.
Mother
Of Six have been described as heavy, poppy, brutal, doomy and
powerful. They have made such a dark impression on the local scene
that they have become almost a cult band. Having earned
headline slots this summer in North Wales' largest live venue
(Central Station, June 21st) and second on the bill for Wrexham's
biggest outdoor event at BellVue Park, the summer 2006 AD will prove
to be MO6's biggest year to date.
With songs about philosophy, literature and conciousness
shifts combined with down to earth songs about love and emotion,
Mother Of Six offer something everyone can relate to, but offer a
deep, darker side if people feel the need to explore. All this
combined with an exceptionally loud and heavy delivery, makes for an
interesting and intense live experience.
"DOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!
This
is what the people on the streets are screaming, bird-flu is about
to eradicate the human race, George Bush is still alive and Gary
Glitter still thinks he's innocent.
Ki,
Dave, Wodge and Carrot are the four druids who, when mixed together,
form Mother of Six, Wrexham's musical equivalent to doomsday.
Described
as heavy-bluesy-stoney rock 'n' roll, MO6 have forged a formidable
reputation in the 'People's Republic of Wrexham'. Since their
inception in 2015, the men that cry 'DOOOOM' are paving their
cataclysmic way through our cold cold hearts..."
