I first got into Rock music when a friend showed me Limp Bizkit’s first album, “3 Dollar Bill Yall$”. It’s one of my favourite albums of all time, along with “Adrenaline” by Deftones, “KoRn” by KoRn, “Make Yourself” and “Morning View” by Incubus and “Showbiz” and “Origin of Symmetry” by Muse. I’m influenced by the likes of Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan and a lot of the Blues/Rock scene. I’ve never heard a band just like us; we are Guitar led, with different aspects of Bass and Drums mixed in, and our most original factor, our Singing. Seb, sounds a teeny bit like a mix between Mathew Bellamy (Muse) and Chino Moreno (Deftones), but this is not instantly recognisable.
I feel that a Guitar riff has to be interesting or exciting. I like to have complicated riffs in the songs, but I also understand the power of silence, and simple powerful, effective riffs. Our Bass is very Punky, and mixed with heavy Rock, this is always interesting. The Drums are simple and powerful, much like Deftones. I can’t explain exactly what we sound like, so you should come and see us and decide for yourselves.
