Growing up in a
musical family in Newcastle, Roger played in several North East
bands before moving to London in the 80s.
He worked as a
musician for many bands and on sessions before joining Bliss as
keyboard player, they had major chart success in Italy,
Germany and South America. In the 90s, concentrating more on
studio production Roger produced several albums in Ireland
including the platinum selling King Puck for
Christy Moore. He continued to produce in the UK whilst writing
the songs that became his first solo album Scarab Moon. Roger
then forged a working partnership with double bass player Olly
Blanchflower and has been out and about in the UK playing gigs
since. His new album Big Fire was released in Jan
2006.
